Harvey Selected as General Counsel for the Associated General Contractors of Virginia
Vandeventer Black partner, James R. Harvey, has been selected to
be the General Counsel for the Associated General Contractors of Virginia
(AGCVA). It is the largest construction trade organization in the state.

Harvey
is a member of the firm's Executive Board responsible for the governance and

and civic boards and committees. He is the former Chair of the Norfolk
Board of Zoning Appeals. He is the past-president of the Norfolk & Portsmouth
Bar Association, its foundation, and a past chair of the Virginia Bar
Association's Construction and Public Contracts Section.
