Matthew grew up in Onancock, Virginia, and graduated from Nandua High School in 2000.  He also has a master’s degree in history from Virginia Tech.  He is a member of Churchland Lodge #276, A.F. & A.M. and serves as a Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist at Ware Insurance.  He lives in Portsmouth, Virginia with his family.
