Tidewater Classical Guitar Orchestra
Established as one of the pioneering ensembles in the United States, the Tidewater Guitar Orchestra continues to captivate audiences with its innovative approach to classical guitar performance. Led by the Executive Director of Tidewater Classical Guitar, Patrick Garrison, this ensemble comprises over a dozen highly skilled guitarists who harness the rich timbral palette of a diverse array of guitars. From traditional classical guitars to requintos (soprano guitars) and bajas (baritone guitars), the orchestra explores a vast repertoire spanning from Bach to Bartok, with a particular emphasis on music of the Americas.
