We provide expert veterinary care exclusively for dogs and cats!

Our staff includes two veterinarians, a licensed veterinary technician, and knowledgeable and friendly veterinary assistants.

Just like you, all of us love animals and  we are here because we enjoy working with people and their pets.

We provide preventative wellness care (exams/vaccinations/parasite testing), diagnosis and treatment of medical and surgical diseases, dentistry, spays and neuters.  We also offer boarding and microchipping, and PennHIP and OFA evaluations. Our staff offers counselling on products, diet, exercise, puppy, kitten and senior care, along with preventative dental care.

MISSIOn

The mission of the Barrier Islands Center (BIC) is to preserve and perpetuate the unique culture and history of Virginia’s Barrier Islands through education and the collection and interpretation of artifacts.
